The True North Spin Coin is manually machined from solid bar stock with a 1/8" ceramic ball point on one side and a working compass on the other.

1.5" diameter in either solid brass or solid copper and comes in our custom leather pouch.

I've been asked quite a few times to make my version of one but I didn't quite get them.  It's not a top, not a coin...what's the point?  Then I made a spinner and absolutely loved the weight and feel in my hands.  I get the whole "worry coin" concept now but I still couldn't turn a simple coin and leave it at that.  A few months back my wife suggested that I incorporate a compass into something simply because they are aesthetically pleasing...I couldn't agree more.

To all survival types...I'm well aware that this isn't the best way to carry a compass in a survival situation.  It's meant to be a bit of a novelty but the compass is indeed functional...and is mesmerizing to watch while spinning.
